Kinky Boots

I don't think I've ever been a Man's Man. You know the kind I mean. I've never been into sports, cars, DIY.. I'm oblivious to all that.

But then that said I don't think I've ever been particularly feminine either. I certainly don't do the elaborate hand gestures when I talk and when I do play the gay card I more often than not, put it on... shrieking OMG just doesn't come naturally. Don't get me wrong: it a bucket load of fun sometimes to play gay..

It's almost like fate comes along and gives me a good kicking when it appears I might be forgeting what it means to be gay.

My friend Chris shrieked in horror the other day when we were talking gay, drag and boots, when I admitted I'd never watched the movie Kinky Boots. Truth be told I'd never even heard of it. Suffice to say, it took her no more than a day to start the process of rectifying that.

I don't review well.. but for those who might not have seen the movie - I stress - GO AND BLADDY WELL SEE IT. The word fabulous barely does it justice.

Kinky Boots, hey? Hmmm... any movie that you've fallen in love with is worth showing my own eyes, so rest assured, Love, it's on my list to see. And since Si's leaving this Saturday, I'll have loads of free time to watch it!

On the gay note thing... when I met you, I never saw the stereotypically gay flares, and you never sound gay when I talk to you either... still love you, all the same! ;O)

I wanted to see that movie! I was a little scared of it to be honest (uber-gayness = terrifying to me!) but maybe I'll have to check it out.

Wow! I didn't realize you were back.
Saw your comment on Swats' blog and got to know.
Kinky Boots? Even I've never heard of it! Whats it about anyhow?

Jules: LOL. I know. I think that's why it hit the family as hard as it did.

Let me know what you thought of it. I loved it. Lola is like WHOA.

Josh: I used to be like that. Now nothing effects me quite like that. Definitely watch it - I promise you won't regret it.

Rebel: To be honest.. I didn't even know I was back. Still not hundread percent I am. LOL.

Its a film about a shoe factory and a drag queen. Hmm but that makes it sounds kinda lame - this is why I don't review films.

And was Mister Chiwetel Ejiofor not one gorgeous man with an incredible voice and presence? I saw Kinky Boots almost two years ago at an art theater in Portsmouth, NH and was completely carried away.

Will: Welcome.

Yes Chiwetel did an amazing job - his vocals were unbelieve. I think he certainly made that movie.
